About John
Like many magicians, John’s passion for magic began in junior high school. To deepen his knowledge and refine his craft, he has been a dedicated member of the Society of American Magicians (SAM) for over 20 years. Founded by the legendary Harry Houdini, the SAM is the oldest and most prestigious magic organization in the world.
For much of his adult life, John worked as an engineer for an international company, which gave him the opportunity to travel extensively. His travels took him to countries such as China, Malaysia, the Philippines, Japan, Singapore, Germany, Denmark, Poland, and England. These experiences allowed John to learn unique magical techniques and gain inspiration from diverse cultures. His travels have had a profound influence on both his magic and the stories he shares with audiences.

Strolling / Walk-Around Magic
Perfect for cocktail parties, wedding receptions, and other social gatherings, this style of magic brings the performance directly to your guests. John moves from group to group or table to table, performing intimate, interactive magic that engages small clusters of people at a time.
This approach is designed to complement the event, not disrupt it—it doesn’t require the attention of the entire room, allowing the party to continue seamlessly.Whether guests are mingling in standing groups or seated at tables, John adapts effortlessly.
When tables are occupied with drinks, food, or decor, he typically performs standing, using his hands and involving the guests directly. Most events feature a mix of seated and standing guests, and John is well-practiced in navigating both settings fluidly throughout the evening.
Parlor / Close-Up Magic
For more intimate gatherings—typically with 20 guests or fewer—it’s often best to have everyone enjoy the magic together.
In this case, John can present a Parlor Show, standing and performing for the entire group at once, or a Close-Up Show, where he is seated and guests gather around a table for a more personal experience.
Both formats offer an engaging, memorable performance tailored to the smaller scale of the event.
